FSC Motor Repairs carries out mechanical servicing and repairs on motorhomes and campervans in Sittingbourne and Isle of Sheppey, with no appointment needed. We look after the base vehicle: the engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension, and everything else that gets you down the road. We don’t work on habitation areas such as gas, water, leisure electrics, or damp, so for those you’ll need a habitation specialist.

Why motorhomes need regular mechanical care

A motorhome lives a very different life from an everyday van, as it often runs close to its maximum weight, then sits unused for weeks or months at a time. Both take their toll.

Carrying heavy loads puts extra strain on brakes, suspension, and tyres. Long periods of standing can cause brakes to stick, batteries to go flat, and tyres to develop flat spots or crack with age. Many motorhome tyres reach the end of their safe life through age long before the tread wears out, so they’re worth checking every year.

We service motorhomes in line with the base vehicle manufacturer’s schedule, so your mechanical warranty is preserved.
